DCB

There is generally a large distance of more than two meters between the bearing mounted at the lifting carriage and the fixed bearing at the top of the column. This means there are minimum support forces, and as a result, minimum friction and wear within the column. Comparing this to the conventional systems with upper and lower bearings mounted at the carriage, the effect of the forces over the complete stroke is approximately five times lower.
